Ncaa Football 14 SZS Strategy Guide

NCAA Football 14 Tips &Tips Strategy Guide

Hey NCAA college football 14 fans. Here we will talk about tips and tricks that you could do to create a powerhouse. I know everyone has different strategies and also are looking for new ideas. I also note I play and propose a clean and "real life" playing style. This means I don't push money plays, cheats, not any type of advantage that you wouldn't have in real life. With that being said here are our tips to build a powerful dynasty team.

RECRUITING
Yes, you can have a good recruiting class with a sub par to even a horrible team. How do you do this? Well it's all about the numbers. What I mean is the amount of recruits you go after. To be successful for highly skilled recruits you should only have 9-12 players on your recruiting board with max points toward each player. If a computer is recruiting a player and is competing with you, it is good to know the computer will put max points points possible each week. So, to be able to compete you also need maximum points for that particular player. 3 STARS 3 STARS 3 STARS. Gems are the most important thing in recruiting, even more if you are a sub par team. When I recruit my board consists of mostly 3 stars but when the season comes my 6 star program is just as talented as other programs. I know everyone loves the QB's, RB's, and receivers. So do I but from a recruiting standpoint it's not nearly the most important thing to worry about. As I have recruited, I have noticed that a lot of the QB's aren't fought for till the end of the season or fought for at all. During week 6 or 7 you can go to search,    Then go to percent signed and search under 25%. Once doing this, all players will come up that are not being recruited at all! So if you are a 1 star program it's your chance to land possibly a 5 star QB.  Now the players that are usually not recruited are the quarterbacks, wide receivers, some running backs, punters & kickers, and also random athletes. Because of this, the most important players to recruit early on is the guys in the trenches. This would be your tackles, guards, centers, defensive tackles, and your defensive ends. If you want to have a strong team and win multiple games you have to control the trenches. Whether it is a powerful running game to an air raid high flying passing attack, the offensive line is so important. On defense a pass rush is the most important thing in the game. No pass rush equals a quarterback sitting back in the pocket and picking you apart. If you have the best offensive/defensive line In the country, a lot of good is going to happen. The last thing about recruiting that is very important to a select few has to do with athletes and also height and size of players. Who likes a dual threat QB? Who can only fine maybe one fast QB out of all the QB's that you can recruit? For me this was an issue that for a while I couldn't figure out. I couldn't understand how teams had quarterbacks with 83-90 speed and acceleration ratings from 80-90 as freshman! So, I did a little experimenting of my own and struck gold. ATHLETES. You find your great mobile QB's in the athletes section.
There is a wide range to choose from always, and they generally don't get recruited. They basically go under the radar most of the time with users. Everyone always focuses on the overall of a player which is important, but other things are important also. Such as speed, size, and height. To be most successful on the field you have to recruit to what compliments your offense. Do you want a defense of straight speed, or a mixture of size and speed, or maybe just a lot of size? On offense what time of run game? A power run game, or a shotgun mobile run game? What types of receiver do you want? Personally I believe there are two formulas. One is speed and one is power.  When you are first trying to build your team you have to pick one. Usually you go with what best suites the team at the moment. For instance, you can't run a shotgun high powered offense at Boston College. It would be more of a power run game with Andre Williams in the backfield. But when it's all said and done to be a complete powerhouse, and to be able to compete every year for a national title in a Online Dynasty, you need both.

Here is a guide for a national championship team:

OFFENSE

QB: mobile in the pocket decent speed

HB: 2 running a backs: one small, quick, elusive, (big play ability) (5'8- 5'10). And one power back (6'1-6-4 200-230 lbs.)

WR: Small fast speedsters for the inside. Also have at least 1-2 6'5 or taller guys for the outside. You may also recruit a 6'7 guy to sub in on goal line fades. Yes they are out there.

TE: 2. One big and physical for blocking and one  with some Speed for receiving. HINT*maybe a over sized receive and is fast but not receiver fast converted to tight end.

O-LINE: All big and physical, no players under 6'5 and huge.

DEFENSE

LB: Your choice, short and fast, or big and strong. There are some but not many who posses both qualities.

CB: Small fast guys that will keep up in coverage and wot be burned. Also have a 6'3 corner or taller just in case Someone is killing you with the height of there receivers. (Usually just one)

SAFETIES: Hard hitting and all around good athlete. ( need to be great tacklers) other than line backers they make the most tackles.

DT: Huge physical guys to match opponents size or to overwhelm them. 6'6 guys or bigger and lots of weight. Suppose to plug up the run. Nothing gets inside!

DE: Quick fast guys to force RB's back into the trenches, (CANT GET THE EDGE!) also for pass rush, and maintaining QB in pocket. Can be shorter but you want them to be as tall and lean as possible. EX: Clowney (South Carolina) size.

All these things are needed to be most dominant in my opinion. You basically have two offenses with your HINT* created playbook that has both a shotgun/pistol and a eye formation and a heavy back field formation. Formation subs are the most important thing! Have the right guys on the field at the right time is so important!

SCHEDULE

When setting up a schedule you need to make sure that you have at least an A overall schedule to make sure you are in contention if there is more than one undefeated team playing for the national title. When selecting the BCS top 25 the computer looks at the 2 polls. On the game, that would be the AP and coaches poll. It also takes into account strength of schedule and your points to points given up ratio. It is good to note that you want to schedule all of your non conference games as late as possible! Even if you have to have two bye weeks at te beginning of the season. This is for many reasons:

1. If you are in contention for the national title, late games can push you over the top, especially if it's a top tier team.

2. If you have any players up for awards like the Maxwell or Heisman for example late big games can boost there chances.

3. When you are  recruiting and setting up visits you want to schedule them as late as possible and you always want to be the last school a prospect sees. Usually teams have bye weeks in the 14th and 15th week. If you schedule a big end of season game on the 14th or 15th week not only will your recruit be able to experience a big game but also it will make the last and best impression to the recruit.

I hope this helped you create the next powerhouse of football and that you start to win those close user game battles.
